Sactown Race Day Details

Sactown 5k is this Sunday and below is everything you need to know for race day.

Registration
If you haven't registered it is not too late, you can register at https://runsra.org/sactown-run/registration/, use code DELTAHAWKS19 for a flat rate of $20.​

Packet Pickup
Fleet Feet, 2311 J Street

• Saturday, 4/6: 10am to 6pm

Race Day

• Saturday, 4/7: opens at 6:30am
• Located near 6th & Capitol Mall

Race Day

• Meet at our team tent which will be located on the center grass median on Capital Mall between 5th & 6th Street
  • Meet @ 7:00am (warmup at 7:10am)
• Race Starts​
  • 5k: 8:00am
• After the race Hawks should return to the team tent for a proper cooldown and if you need to leave please let a coach know so that we know all Hawks are accounted for.

Parking
On-street parking in the Capitol area is free on Sundays.

Suggestions

• Have your child bring a backpack for their gear that can stay at the team tent while they are racing.
• Team gear:
  • Warmup: practice shirt, hoodie if you ordered one and running pants.
  • Race: shorts and singlet (tank top) - no sweatshirts or pants during race.
  • Put out all of your team gear the night before to reduce race morning stress.
• Spectating
  • This race starts on Capitol Mall between 6th & 7th street, winds through downtown, crosses the Tower Bridge, goes around Raley Field and finishes in a long straight shot down Capitol Mall.
  • A great spectating spot is at 4th & Capitol Mall where you can see runners at the half way point and at the finish.
